KeyStone CEO 360 measures CEO performance on behalf of boards, objectively measuring CEO effectiveness in line with your organisation’s vision and culture. We don’t offer recruitment services, so we’re free from conflict of interest. Nor do we assess the performance of an organisation we provided financial advice too. We’re  truly independent.

Our process

Confidential, repeatable CEO performance review that works.

KeyStone CEO 360° is a best-practice CEO evaluation and assessment process involving the board, direct reports and key stakeholders. Choose from a CEO self-assessment, right through to a full 360° evaluation. We recommend the involvement of the Chair, Directors, CEO and the executive leadership team for a full 360° CEO evaluation.

The full CEO evaluation process takes around four weeks, dependant upon the responsiveness and availability of participants. A two week reduction requires the full availability, unfettered access and determined engagement from all participants. The process of the CEO Evaluation must become one of the management team’s top priorities.

STEP ONE
An initial discussion establishes the objectives, defines CEO evaluation criteria and qualifies CEO performance goals.

STEP TWO
Tailored surveys reflect the skills, knowledge and abilities of the CEO. Our CEO assessment tools evaluate an extensive range of performance criteria including strategic planning, leadership, financial performance, management of operations, management development, succession planning, human resources, communications, brand and reputation management and interpersonal relations.

In the full 360° multi-participant form, each participant is asked to rate each area of the CEO’s performance in a confidential survey or interview.

STEP THREE
We present our findings, outline opportunities for performance improvement and personal development. We identify any gaps between the views of the CEO and the other participants.
